Sun Valley Resort “Summer Season” Brand/Retail Campaign
For generations, Sun Valley Resort has suffered from the perception of a destination reserved for the pretentious elite. Southern Idaho families, who make up the majority of the local drive-to market, did not feel welcomed nor believed that the resort offered the variety of family-friendly activities they desired. The challenge for Noot Group was to change the current perception by visually highlighting Sun Valley Resort’s depth & breadth of activities and utilizing a fun, approachable tone.
The integrated brand/retail campaign consisted of Print, Electronic Direct Mail, Banner and Social pushing to a Microsite (mySVfun.com) specifically designed to simplify the process of creating custom vacation packages.
Results to date show a significant increase in family vacation packages, extended stays and event sales resulting in the most profitable summer season in over 20 years.
